How to Change a Subtitle File From SUB to SRT

Video playback on computers support several types of subtitle files. Oftentimes the subtitle file will be in the .sub format. Users may wish to convert this file to a .srt format, a subtitle format that contains only text and no video information. These files are compatible with DVD and DivX playback. Converting from .sub to .srt requires a free downloadable program.
