How to Refer a Friend in WOW
The World of Warcraft massive multi-player online role-playing game allows thousands of different people from across the globe to play together in teams or even fight against one another. The game does have a monthly fee, which may turn off some potential players who aren't sure if they will enjoy it enough to shell out the money. You can use the World of Warcraft referral program to give a friend a free 10-day trial so he can experience the game and decide if he wants to continue on with a regular paying account.

Tips & Warnings
Your friend will not actually be charged to play World of Warcraft during the trial period provided by the referral. He only has to enter his credit card information to verify his identity and to keep the numbers stored in case he decides to upgrade to a normal account. If both you and your referred friend join a group in World of Warcraft, both of your characters will receive three times the normal amount of experience they would normally receive when they complete a quest. The experience point bonus will remain in effect for a full 90 days from the date that the referred person activates their account.
You must already have your own full World of Warcraft account in order to use the friend referral program. If you were referred and given a 10-day trial you will not then be able to refer someone else unless you upgrade to a regular account with a monthly fee. The triple experience point boost does not stack with multiple people. For instance, if you refer two people and all three of you join a group, you will still only receive three times the normal experience instead of six times the normal experience.
