How to Make a Flash Movie Stop on the Last Frame
If you have ever made your own web site, you may have created a flash animation to serve as a logo for your site. You will probably want the animated clip to stop and freeze in the last frame containing you logo, so it's still there even after the page loads and the flash animation plays.

1
Open your flash animation software. For this article, we will assume you are using Adobe Flash, but the principle will work with most other editors.
-
2
Create a new layer in your animation, and call it "Action". This is where you will place all you actions. This makes it easier to go back later and make changes.
-
-
3
Select the key frame you want to work with. In this case, since you want to stop the animation at the last frame, you pick the frame corresponding to the last frame of the animation.
-
4
Double-click on the "Key Frame" to open the Actions panel. Click on "Basic Actions"
-
5
Select "Stop" from the actions offered. You will see in the timeline that the action has been added to the frame you selected. Now, when you publish your movie again and load it onto your site, the animation will freeze at the end.
