You play your latest MP3 purchase on your computer, but it sounds completely lackluster and without depth. Where's the kicking bass? You can crank up the bass on your PC' s speakers.

Instructions

      Right-click the speaker icon in the lower right-hand corner of your taskbar. Click "Playback Devices."

      Double-click "Speakers and Headphones." Choose the "Enhancements" tab.

      Click to put a checkmark in the box next to "Bass Boost and Low Frequency Protection." Under "Enhancement Properties," click the button labeled "Settings."

    • 4

      Adjust the "Bass Boost" and/or "Frequency." Restart your computer to hear your changes.

Tips & Warnings

  • Remember that your new bass level will not be applied until you restart your computer.
