How to Have a Chat in Hi5

Hi5 is a popular website where friends can keep in touch as well as share pictures and join groups to meet other people with similar interests. Hi5 comes with a e-mail type interface for sending messages to your friends. If you'd rather chat with your friends in real time you just have to do a few simple steps and install a chat client on your Hi5 page.

Things You'll Need:

• Computer with Internet Access
• Hi5 Account

1. Login to your Hi5 account.

2. 
    

   Click the "Applications" tab on the toolbar at the top of the screen.

3. 
    

   Click the button that says "Browse Gallery."

4. 
    

   Type "Chat" in the search box when it appears.

5. 
    

   Select the application that is called "Chat!"

6. 
    

   Click the button marked "Add to Profile."

7. When the application opens, click on the name of a friend who is online to start a conversation with them.

Tips & Warnings

• If you want to share pictures with a friend on Hi5, try installing the "PixChat" application. In the future you will be able to instantly access the chat application through the "Applications" tab at the top of the screen.
