In this article, you will learn how to list a used or new book on Amazon.com's marketplace.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Computer
  • Internet connection
  • Books
  1. Step 1

Get onto your computer and go to Amazon.com.

  2. Step 2

Take a look at the back of your book to see if it has an ISBN number. An ISBN number is the number under a bar code if the book is newer or may just be a set of 10 number separated by some dashes. Type the ISBN number of the book into the Amazon search box.

  3. Step 3

Once the book comes up, click through to it to bring up the detail page.

  4. Step 4
    Sell Yours Here

At the detail page, you will then see a button called "Sell Yours Here". Click this.

  5. Step 5

Once at this next screen, you will then begin to put in the condition of the book, which you can refer to Amazon's guidelines, a description of the book and finally a price at what you would like to get out of your book.

  6. Step 6

After you have completed all of these steps and you are already signed into your Amazon.com account, click on Submit Listing and you're done! You have now listed a book on Amazon.com!

on 5/7/2009 Yep, I've made over $30,000 in the last few months selling books online. It's very lucrative if you put in the effort.
