    Things You'll Need

    • Communication
      • 1

Most important calm down. This may take a few minute to a room by yourself. Or take a small walk. Never go to bed angry. They may not be their tomorrow.

      • 2

Give each other time to explain without interruption of any kind. Sit for ten minutes and just listen. You don't have to agree, just hear them out. Then take your turn. Tell your spouse how you feel. This steps needs to be calmly without yelling.

      • 3

Compromise. I know this seems hard, but is it worth the end of your relationship? If not, compromise. Talk about what each of you can do to meet in the middle. Your a team. No one can have it all their way.

If any issue is unsolvable after trying these steps, seek out counseling. Counseling can be done in private and no one needs to know. It just another way to get both of you to calm down and understand each other. I know most of our arguments are a miss communication of what we want from each other.
