    Instructions

    Things You'll Need

    • 1-2 large scoops vanilla ice cream
    • Root Beer
      • 1

Place a large mug in the freezer until frosted. This step is optional, but will make the float a much better treat!

      • 2

Add a tablespoon of vanilla ice cream to the bottom of the frosted mug. The rest will be added after the root beer.

      • 3

Slowly pour in the root beer while tilting the glass to the side to reduce the amount of foam. Leave plenty of room for the ice cream!!

      • 4

Gently put one or two scoops of ice cream on top of the root beer. Do not mix the root beer and the ice cream. A true float will have a separation of the ice cream and the root beer so you can taste each flavor.

    Tips & Warnings

    • Do not put in all the ice cream first and then the root beer. This will cause the root beer to foam to much and make a mess.

    • To make this figure friendly, use diet root beer and weight watcher ice cream.
