How to Reset a Magnavox Television

Getting the settings just right on your Magnavox television set can be a bit of a challenge. By resetting the Magnavox TV, you can start from scratch and determine which audio and video settings you prefer while watching TV. Resetting your Magnavox television is a very simple process and shouldn't take you more than a minute to complete.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1

    Turn on the Magnavox television set.

  2. Step 2

    Press the "Menu" button on the Magnavox remote.

  3. Step 3

    Press the arrows on the remote until you have highlighted the "TV Menu" option. Press the "OK" button on the remote.

  4. Step 4

    Highlight the "TV Settings" option and press the "OK" button again.

  5. Step 5

    Scroll to the "Reset to Standard" option and press "OK." Once you do, the Magnavox television set will go back to the factory settings for that particular set.
