Tricks for False Eyelashes
Tricks for False Eyelashes

False eyelashes have become popular again and have come back into style. There are some tips you should know on how to wear them so they look their best and don't look artificial.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Eyelashes
  1. Step 1

Don't over do the eyelashes. Bigger is not always better. You want them to accent not overpower your eyes. Start with the shorter length lashes at first. You might even consider trying the demi-false lashes that you apply just to the corner of your lashes.

  2. Step 2

Don't put mascara on your false eyelashes but do put them on your bottom eyelashes. You want to balance the look. Put a little moisturizer under your eye and then if you get some mascara on your skin it will wipe away easily.

  3. Step 3

Reconsider your makeup. You do not have to put on "loud" makeup to go with the eyelashes. Stick with your usual eye shadow, and lipstick. You don't want or need to wear dark eyeshadow, black eyeliner and fire engine red lipstick with your new longer eyelashes.

  4. Step 4

Look at your eyebrows. False eyelashes will emphasize them more so make sure they are looking good. Define them and arch them with a eyebrow pencil. Make sure you don't go too dark.
