Things You'll Need:
- bucket of water
- rubbing compound
- auto cleaner wax
- microfiber towel
- painters tape
- 3 grades of sand paper (400 grade, 800 grade, 1500 grade)

Step 1
Fill a bucket with water. Cut 2 inch squares of each grade of sandpaper and soak them in in the bucket of water for 5 minutes. (Only one square is needed of each grade.)

Step 2
Open hood of vehicle to have full access to the top of headlight.
*Optional- place painters tape under the headlight so that you do not scratch the paint. -
Step 3
Wet the headlight and get the lowest grade of sandpaper (400 grade) and begin to scrub the full surface of the headlight. White gunk will start to appear and begin to come off of the headlight. Rinse the headlight and sandpaper every time the white gunk accumulates on the headlight. Repeat this until no more white gunk appears on the headlight.

Step 4
Repeat Step 3 with the next 2 grades of sandpaper. (800 grade and 1500 grade of sandpaper)

Step 5
Dry off headlight with a soft wash cloth and apply a light film of rubbing compound to the entire headlight with your bare hand. Let it set for 2-3 minutes.

Step 6
In a circular motion, rub in rubbing compound with one side of the microfiber towel until rubbing compound disappears.

Step 7
Apply a light film of auto high glass wax with your bare hand to headlight. Cover full surface of the headlight. Let sit for 2-3 mintues.

Step 8
In a circular motion, rub in wax with the other side of the microfiber towel until you acheive a clear high gloss. Now, this will leave you with clear headlights and better visibility making it safer for you and your family to drive at night!!
