How to Make a Natural Moisturizing Ointment for Dry Cracked Skin on Hands or Feet

This natural moisturizing ointment helps to heal dry cracked skin on the hands or feet. This ointment also helps to moisturize the surrounding skin. When using to heal cracked hands or feet, I suggest using it nightly until they heal. This ointment also works well for dry skin in general, and I suggest using it 1-3 times per week to prevent dry, cracked skin.

Things You'll Need

• 1 Tablespoon of Ground Almonds
• 1 Egg
• 1/4 Ounce of Ground Comfrey Root
• 1 1/2 Tablespoons of Honey

Instructions

1. In a small mixing bowl, whisk the egg until it's well blended.

2. Add in the ground almond, comfrey root and honey and whisk them together thoroughly.

3. Put a cover over the mixture and let it sit in the fridge for about 30 minutes.

4. Apply a thick layer of the ointment over the dry or cracked skin. Apply the ointment over the surrounding area as well, I suggest applying it to an extra 1/2 inch.

5. Put on a pair of socks or mittens, and let the mixture stay on overnight.

6. In the morning, rinse it off with cool water then dry gently.

7. The rest of the mixture can be stored in the fridge for about 4 days, then you should make a fresh batch if needed.
