How to Clear Up The Printer Queue In Windows Vista

Have you ever clicked on something more than once and then out of nowhere you have a bunch of copies of your document printing like crazy but don't know how to stop it? Do you have that problem, but don't know how to solve it with Vista? Have no fear, there's a way to solve this problem!

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Printer
  • Windows Vista Operating System
  1. Step 1

    Click on Start, then click on Control Panel.

  2. Step 2

    When you get to the Control Panel, make sure you have it set to Classic View on the left hand pane. Then click on Printers.

  3. Step 3

    After you click on Printers choose your printer and/or default printer if you have multiple printers setup.

  4. Step 4

    Once you click on your printer, you will get a pop up window with the following menus on the top: Printer, Document, View. Click on the document you want to clear from the printer queue, then click on document, then click on cancel.

Tips & Warnings
  • To select multiple documents, press the CTRL (Control) Key and left click each document you want to clear from the printer queue.
