How to Make a Spiderman Mask

People are in love with superheroes, and especially with a certain wall-crawler. And kids and adults alike occasionally have reasons to dress up as Spiderman. Creating a Spiderman mask is easy, whether you want to make you own costume for a party or you want to make a gift for a child.

Things You'll Need

• Red ski mask
• Black fabric paint
• Brushes
• Balloon

Instructions

1. Gather your materials. Purchase a red pullover-type ski mask with two eye holes, but no mouth. You will also need some black fabric paint, some brushes and a balloon.

2. Print out a couple of images of the Spiderman mask, to pin up and use as a reference. You will want front and side views.

3. Blow up your balloon, and tie it to a stable object. Then place the ski mask over the balloon. Now use the brushes to apply the black paint. Look at your references, and try to reproduce what you see there.

4. Let your mask dry. Then remove it from the balloon. Since the paint may have adhered to the balloon, you may have to pop it.
