1
Border your high tops. Apply fabric glue along the edges of the top of your high tops. Fold your bandana diagonally, creating a triangle. Using the longest side of the triangle, attach the edge to the glue. Start from the middle of the bandana and work your way to the sides so that you have leftover length. Tie a knot with the leftover length to finish the look.

Create your own shoelaces. To do this, you need a large bandana. Lay your bandana flat. Use scissors to cut a straight line diagonally across your bandana from one corner to the opposite corner, forming two triangles. Use one triangle of the bandana and cut along the same side you cut before. Cut another straight line, giving you a strip of material approximately 2 inches in width. Apply a thin streak of fabric glue along the edge of the entire length of one side of the piece of fabric. Roll the fabric as tight as you can, starting with the side that has no glue. Once you've rolled the bandana to create the shape of a shoelace, hold it together and apply a lot of pressure until the glue dries. Repeat with the second triangle to create another shoelace.

Change the look of your sneakers' tongue. This is a subtle but unique way to spice up your sneakers. Place a piece of white printer paper over the inside of your sneakers' tongue. Use a pencil to trace the shape of the tongue. Use scissors to cut the shape out. Use the piece of paper as a guide to cut a piece of your bandana to the correct shape. Apply fabric glue all along one side of the cut-out bandana and place it on the back of your sneakers' tongue. Allow the glue to dry six to eight hours before wearing your sneakers.
