How to Erase an Entire List of Internet Favorites
Favorites and bookmarks are a useful feature to help keep track of all of your favorite websites. But over time your favorite list might become too big and cumbersome to use efficiently. Deleting your favorites and starting from scratch is sometimes the easiest thing to do.
Instructions

Internet Explorer

Open your Internet Explorer browser.

Click on "Tools," "Toolbars" and "Favorites." The tools icon is on the upper right hand side of the browser and has a gear icon next to it. Pressing "Ctrl + I" will also access your favorites.

Right click on the folder and select "Delete." Do this for all folders that you want deleted. The deleted favorites will now be in your recycling bin.
Mozilla FireFox

Open up Mozilla FireFox if this is your primary browser.

Click on "Bookmarks," which is located on top of the browser toolbar between "History" and "Help."

Select "Organize bookmarks" under the Bookmarks menu.

Click on "Bookmarks menu." This will bring up all of your bookmarks.

Press Ctrl + A to highlight all of the bookmarks and folders.

Right-click and select "Delete" to wipe out all bookmarks and folders.

Tips & Warnings
Once a bookmark is deleted it is unable to be recovered, unless you are using Internet Explorer and can access it in the recycling bin.
