How to Make your own Shaving Oils

Things You'll Need
- Measuring cup
- Glass storage bottle
- Glass mixing bowl
- Glass stirrer or wooden spoon
- Funnel
- Olive Oil
- Tea Tree Oil
- Your favorite essential oils
- Vitamin E oil
- Dried of fresh herbs and flowers.

The olive oil does not have to be super expensive, though extra virgin is best. Mixing these in your kitchen or bathroom is more convenient in case you spill any oil.

You can add
* 2 sprigs of rosemary & fresh or dried rose petals, or you can substitute and use essential oils instead.
* 4-5 drops of essential or artificial vanilla oil.
* 4 drops of lavender essential oil & 4-5drops essential chamomile oil.
* 4 drops eucalyptus essential oil.
* 5 drops grape fruit essential oil.
* 5 drops orange essential oil.You can add any combination or single fragrance you like.

Using a glass stirrer of wooden spoon gently stir the oil in the mixing bowl, give it six good stirs.

Once you have your additives in the bottle insert the funnel, and carefully pour the oil into the glass storage bottle. You can also use a plastic storage bottle. Cap your bottle and save in a cool dry place it will keep for months.You can make more oil if you wish just adjust your measurements. Tea Tree oil is powerful so you won't need to add too many drops. Just remember to shake your oil before each use. Your legs will be smooth, soft, and moisturized.

Tips & Warnings
You can add fresh aloe, and cucumber pulp to make a cooling shaving oil, this will keep for about a week so make small batches at a time.
Vintage bottles or old glass bottles with tops that you don't use anymore work very well.
You can add dried lavender and chamomile flowers, or any dried or fresh flowers that you like.
Using a clear glass bottle is better when your oil contains additives it make for a pretty bottle on your bathroom counter.
If you are pregnant, nursing or you have special health needs always ask your physician or trained aromatherapist if it is safe for you to use essential oils.
Make sure that you are not allergic to any of the ingredients in your shaving oil.
Always use essential oils in moderation.
Make sure the wooden spoon you use is for this purpose only.
Keep your shaving oil in your bathroom so you will not confuse it with your cooking oil, some essential oils are bad if ingested.
