Step 1
Go to Fixtunes (see Resources) and download on the free trial program. Run the program after you download it. After you run the program, Fixtunes will prompt you to open iTunes.
-
Step 2
Open iTunes and select a playlist. Fixtunes will instruct you to click on "view" (located at the top of the iTunes screen). This opens another menu. Scroll down to the middle and select "view options." Then check the "comment" box. Then follow the instructions in Fixtunes to find album covers for your music. This might take a few minutes or more depending how much music you have. Be patient and Fixtunes will let you know when it's finished.
-
Step 3
You need to select "save" after Fixtunes has finished. Just be sure to stay online and do not do anything else while Fixtunes is working.
-
Step 4
Check to see if the album covers have been added by clicking on "view" (again, the menu at the top of the iTunes screen). Then click on "cover flow" (third option under "view"). As you flip through your albums, you will see which ones have been added.
-
Step 5
Grab your iPod and plug it into your USB port on your computer and synchronize it . This synchronization will take a little longer than usual this time due to the graphic content, so just wait for it. When you get the go-ahead to disconnect, enjoy flipping through your colorful new album cover artwork.
