How to Replace Cartridge Shower Faucets

A cartridge faucet is known as a "washerless" faucet. A faucet of this type is specifically designed for quick repairs, and is more trouble-free than other faucet types, such as the common compression faucet. Cartridge faucets can be identified by the single metal or plastic cartridge inside the body of the faucet. Cartridge faucets used for showers are almost always of the single-faucet design, meaning that one faucet controls both the flow of water as well as the temperature of the water. If the faucet seems to always need repairs or simply will not stop leaking, it is time for the faucet to be replaced. Thankfully, doing so is a relatively straightforward task that can be completed in a just a few minutes. Does this Spark an idea?
