How to Convert a VOB to an MPEG

How to Convert a VOB to an MPEG thumbnail
DVDs save movies in the VOB format.

DVDs save their video and audio content together in one file called a DVD Video Object (VOB). VOBs contain excellent playback quality and typically take up lots of hard drive space. In order to make your DVD's VOB file more widely compatible, you can convert it into an MPEG (MPG) file, which works in many more programs. Multiple video converters can turn VOBs into MPEGs for free.
