Plug your digital camera into your computer using the cables that were provided when you purchased your camera. Once your digital camera is plugged into your computer, your computer will let you know that a new device has been found. Open the program that you downloaded for your digital camera or open the folder containing the pictures in your digital camera.

Go to "Add/Remove Programs" and uninstall your camera software. Then put your disk in and re-install it fresh. It should go back to the way it was originally when you installed it.

I use to be able to upload my photos from my Canon G9 camera. I plugged it in, the prompt automatically popped up, I hit import and ta-da. Now I plug it in and NOTHING....help someone.
