Things You'll Need:
- 4Runner (4th Generation, 2003-2009), FJ Cruiser (2007-current), Lexus RX (2004-2008), or RAV4 (2006-current)

Step 1
Key in the ON positionTurn the key to the ON position

Step 2
Correct screen - ODOPress the trip/odometer button until the screen shows the ODO reading (rather than TRIP A or TRIP B)

Step 3
Turn the key to the OFF position

Step 4
Turn the key to the ON position

Step 5
Press and hold the trip/odometer button (within 6 seconds of turning the key)

Step 6
Hold the trip/odometer button for 10 seconds, then fasten the driver’s seatbelt

Step 7
“b_on” should appear on the odometer screen – at this point you can release the trip/odometer button

Step 8
Press the trip/odometer button – “b_off” should appear

Step 9
Turn the key to the OFF position

on 9/10/2009 I cannot get this to work on my 08 Rav4. The b_On never appears. Is there a different procedure for newer rav4's?
