How to Post a Picture to Twitter

Twitter is a free social messaging service that allows its users to receive updates on other user's answers to the question, "What are you doing now?" They call these updates "tweets," which are are sent via short text messages. You can receive tweets by visiting the Twitter website, IM, SMS, RSS or email. You can send tweets from your Twitter profile, your mobile phone, IM account or via a third-party Twitter client.

If you have already established a presence on Twitter (have a Twitter account), you may wonder how to add pictures. Twitter doesn't have a picture posting feature of its own as yet, but you can use a third-party application called Twitpic. Twitpic allows you to easily post pictures to Twitter.
