Another effective way of doing a burnout in a manual transmission vehicle is to push down completely on the clutch, get your tachometer up to around 5000 RPM, pop off the clutch and immediately after popping off the clutch use that same foot to slam on your brakes, you will stay in the same spot and you can burn rubber as long as you want then just let off the brakes for a nice exit.
