      Open iTunes. Copy the song you want to import and paste it to the desktop. Window's Movie Maker does not allow the files to be directly imported from iTunes, so you have to copy the file and move it to a different location.

      Close out of iTunes and open Windows Movie Maker. Load a previously started project by going to the top of the tool bar and clicking "File" then "Open Project," or start a new one by clicking "New Project" found under the file menu.

      Click "Import Media" on the top tool bar. Browse for your file and click "Import."

      Click "Story Board" and change it to "Time Line." The "Story Board" button is on the bottom left-hand side of the program. Audio can only be added when the format of Windows Movie Maker is in Time Line. This is how your video is arranged.
