How to Create a Right-Align Tab in MS Word
Whether you are creating lists or tables, you will need to set different tabs for your document to offset the information correctly. When you open a new Word document, you will see a number of left-aligned tabs as the default; this lets you begin typing with a tab that moves half an inch at a time. Once you set a right-aligned tab, the default tabs will disappear.

Click the small tab symbol that looks like a white box with a black “L” inside it, located to the left of the ruler. Click on this box to cycle through different types of tab stops. Stop when you see a backward-facing “L” appear. This is a right-align tab.
