Instructions

    • 1
      A boat tie off

Tie the boat at the dock and back the trailer into the water. The main part of the trailer should be submerged.

    • 2
      Boat propeller

Drive the boat onto the trailer, with the propeller lifted to avoid damage. Turn the boat off.

    • 3

Get your feet wet. Climb out of the boat and hook a winch strap to the latch rope on the front of the boat.

    • 4
      Boat winch

Turn the winch until the boat is centered and properly balanced on the trailer. Lock the winch in place.

    • 5

Drive the truck forward until the entire trailer is out of the water. Fasten all the securing latch ropes, and make sure that everything is tight and secure.

Tips & Warnings

  • If possible have someone to help you by driving the trailer to the water, and helping guide the boat onto the trailer. This will save you a lot of running back and forth.
