How to Draw Bear Feet

Bears have flat, wide feet and long, curved claws. They also have muscular, furry legs that lead down to their feet. When you learn how to draw bear feet, you can draw bears in many realistic poses that will be a delight to others who see your drawings. Use a pencil as you learn the techniques and draw the outlines and then fill in later with colored pencils, if desired.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Pencil
  • Drawing paper
  • Colored pencils (optional)
  1. Step 1

    Make the outline of the bear's paw as shown.

  2. Step 2

    Add five curved claws on the upper edge of the bear's paw.

  3. Step 3

    Add the large and small foot pads on the upper part of the sole of the bear's paw.

  4. Step 4

    Add one more foot pad on the lower part of the sole of the bear's paw to finish the sole of the bear's paw.

  5. Step 5

    Make a rough outline of the side view of the bear's lower leg and paw. The bear has a muscular leg that blends right into the curve of the bear's paw.

  6. Step 6

    Add the claws at the front of the bear's paw to finish the side view of the bear's paw.

  7. Step 7

    Fill in the drawings with color with the colored pencils if desired.
