1
Go to any website that you can print off free coloring pages from. Choose any character or object depending on the theme of the birthday party, such as a race car picture for a boy's race car party or princess picture for a girl's princess party.
-
2
Make sure you know how many guests are coming to the party to know how many coloring pictures you need to print off. If you have 5 to 10 kids coming, print off that many pages, and even a few extra. You never know if you will have any unexpected guests and you don't want them left out.

3
Fold the coloring page in a way to hold a few crayons. Go online to find a way to fold your sheet of paper to hold the crayons. I have included one way in the resource section.
-
4
Make you own crayons by melting broken crayons in molds in your oven. Or buy either a supply of crayons that have a few in the box for each guest, or buy a pack of new crayons to divide up and place into each of the folded papers for the guests. You now have your cheap and easy party favor that the kids will love!

This is a good idea. The cost of party favors can add up. Even simple parties can end up nickel-and-diming you to death. 5* -
