How to Find Your Avatar Twin
Somewhere out there is your doppleganger, your stunt double, your alter ego, your long lost identical twin brother or sister. A person who is so much like you, that your souls are connected across cyberspace. A person who ... prepare yourself ... has almost the exact same avatar as you. Here's how to find your avatar twin.

1
**Copy Your Avatar's Location**
If you have a cartoon-y avatar, like a Mii, a Yahoo Profile image, a Simpson's avatar, or anything similar, then pin it down. Copy the image's url, or remind yourself where it lives on your computer's directory so you can enter it's filename later on.

**Visit Tineye.com**
Tineye is a new 'reverse image' search engine that finds pictures that look almost exactly like the picture you enter (assuming such images exist in the tineye database).
It doesn't work for all pictures, but it does a pretty good job with avatars, especially those generated by popular avatar-making programs.

**Prepare to be Amazed**
Enter the file path or url for your avatar into the appropriate tineye.com search box, and have fun with the results. You might be surprised at how many alter-egos of you there are out there. Not just twins, but triplets...quadruplets...even more.

I'm pretty sure there's not a twin for my avatar (picture of my dog with a leaf on his head). At least, I hope not! -
