Spring Clean Your Etsy Shop
Spring Clean Your Etsy Shop

Spring cleaning your house can be a great way to bring in fresh air and ideas in your life. Spring cleaning your etsy shop is a fantastic way to get previous customers coming back and new customers dropping by!

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • computer
  • Etsy Shop
  • Microsoft word or equivalent
  1. Step 1

Analyze your shop. Do you have items that are only going to attract attention during winter months? Delete them, or discount them. However, if you ship internationally, consider focusing a part of your marketing budget on renewing or advertising for those in the Southern Hemisphere where Autumn and Winter is just starting.

  2. Step 2

Create images with a consistent look. Look around your shop- are all your photos really different? Consider taking some new photographs with the same colorful background, or outside with some spring flowers. People will think you have new items which is always exciting!

Add items that are Spring/Summer oriented. Research what are the "in" colors for the season and decide if you want to use some. You might want to use one or two of those colors as background for your photos.

  4. Step 4

Proofread. A pet peeve for many customers is misspelled words. Alleviate some of this by creating a word document that has some of your frequently used language that you can copy and paste from into every new listing. For instance, for my clothing and accessories I include the Recommended Care in every listing. I spell check it in word then copy and paste it into every appropriate listing. Saves a lot of time as well!
