Instructions

Prepare the cucumber and avocado. Mash up the avocado with a spoon. You will only need half of an avocado. Make sure to remove the seed and all of the skin. Gently use the bottom of a spoon to flatten the avocado and continue doing this until it becomes a smooth texture with very few lumps. Then you need to dice the cucumber into very small pieces. You will only need approximately 2 inches of cucumber in length. Make sure to remove the skin first. Dice into very small pieces and then mash as you did with the avocado. It is best to do this in a small bowl to ensure that all of the cucumber juice is saved.

Mix all of the ingredients. In a small mixing bowl, add 1 tbsp. of white sugar, half a mashed up avocado, 2 inches of diced cucumber and 1 tbsp. of honey. Using a spoon, mix all of the ingredients best you can. While mixing add a few drops of olive oil at a time. Continue adding drops slowly, making sure to fully mix in the previous oil added before you add more. When the consistency of all of the ingredients starts to smooth out, stop adding olive oil and continue mixing for several minutes. It is important to not add too much olive oil. You want a paste-like consistency rather than watery.

Apply the exfoliating scrub to your face and/or dry areas of your body. Generously apply the exfoliating scrub to the needed areas of dry skin and then rub in with your fingertips using circular motions. Let the scrub sit for 10 to 15 minutes.

Rinse the exfoliating scrub off using warm water. Scrub the skin, covered in exfoliating scrub, with a washcloth and warm water. Since the scrub is so moisturizing it may be a little difficult to remove. Continue using a washcloth remaining gentle with your skin. Once you have finished rinsing, use a clean dry towel to pat dry the surface of your skin.

Moisturize your freshly exfoliated skin. After your skin has completely dried, apply a very light moisturizer. Don't use heavy-duty lotions or moisturizers specifically for dry skin. The facial scrub will give your skin a lot of moisture, so there is no need to over moisturize. A light moisturizer is all you need. Your skin will immediately show signs of difference after you use the scrub but within the day, the results will continue.
