How to Make an Easter Basket From Construction Paper

- Large piece of construction paper
- Glue
- Scissors
- Paper fastener
- Embellishments

Use the excess paper to cut a handle for your basket. You can make it any length you choose. 12" long works the best, and the width can be of your choosing.

Cut the lines on either side of box "B" and box "E" only to the bottom of each box. Score and lightly fold the horizontal and vertical lines.

Use the tabs made by box "A" and box "C" to create the sides of the basket by using the paper fastener to secure the tabs to the back of box "B." Pierce all three layers of paper and fasten securely.

Repeat for boxes "D" and "F." You now have the bowl portion of your basket.

Use two more paper fasteners to secure the handle from box "B" to box "E."

Decorate with embellishments as you wish.
