How to Zoom a Web Page

If the text and images on a website are too large, or too small, for you to read comfortably, use the zoom function built into your Web browser to resize the page to your liking. Zooming in enlarges everything on the page, including images, and zooming out reduces the size of the items on the page.

Instructions

Firefox and Internet Explorer

1. Press "Alt" to display the menu bar.

2. Click "View" and select "Zoom."

3. Click "Zoom In" to increase the size of the page. Click "Zoom Out" to reduce the size of the page.

Chrome

1. Launch the Chrome Web browser.

2. Click the wrench icon in the top right corner of the window.

3. Click the plus sign next to "Zoom" to enlarge the page or the minus sign to reduce the size of the page.

Tips & Warnings

• You can also zoom in and out in all browsers using a universal keyboard shortcut. Press "Ctrl" and "+" to zoom in, and "Ctrl" and "-" to zoom out.
