      Cut the tortillas into strips or wedges and place them on an ungreased baking sheet.

      Spray them with cooking spray, and then if you want, sprinkle the tortilla chips with chili powder or black pepper.

      Alternatively, you can brush them with a little lime juice and them spray them with oil. This makes a great snack for a margarita party.

      Bake the tortilla chips at 300-350 degrees for about 5-10 minutes. Flour tortillas tend to burn faster than corn tortillas, so watch them carefully. You can also make these in the toaster oven.

      If you want to make nacho style chips, cook the the tortillas for about 5 minutes (they should not be completely crispy), add shredded cheese, and then cook until the cheese is melted.
