    Tips & Warnings

    • Update your Profile Page frequently as this will give your friends and contacts more reason to come back to your site.

    • Frequent updates also get your page more attention from Google. Static pages don't rank as high in searches as pages that have constantly changing content.

    • After you publish your page, be sure you become your first fan! This will show up on your regular Facebook page for all your friends to see and generate interest among them.

    • Submit your Profile Page addess to Google and other search engines

    • The New York Times, Coca Cola, Adam Sandler, and Barack Obama all have Facebook Profile Pages!

    • Don't be afraid to promote your Profile Page by telling your friends about it, but don't overdo it by spamming everyone on your regular friends list with repeated messages about it. Instead, you might consider budgeting some money to take out a Facebook Ad for your site.
