Keep Your Nails Clean

If you work with your hands then you know how difficult it is to keep your nails clean even when wearing gloves. At some point the gloves have to come off and those icky nasty germs and dirt rest in your nail beds. Clean nails create a neat appearance and can keep you from getting sick.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Warm water
  • Mild soap
  • Nail brush or old toothbrush
  • Vaseline
  1. Step 1

You should wash your hands before and after eating, working, and all day in between. It is so easy to pass disease and sickness through your hands. All day you are touching your face, mouth and hair which can be dangerous with dirty nails.

  2. Step 2

Use warm water and mild soap and rub the inside and outside of the palm of your hands for at least 30 seconds.

  3. Step 3

Use an old toothbrush or nail brush to scrub underneath your nails.

  4. Step 4

Rinse your hands with warm water. Pat dry your hands. While your hands are slightly moist, coat your hands and nails with Vaseline. The Vaseline with coat your skin and your nails and act as a barrier and prevent dirt from getting trapped under your nails.
