- Twitter account
- Go to www.twitter.com and sign up with all your information.
- A computer
- DSL or modem

Step 1
1. First you need to create a twitter account. Go to www.twitter.com and create the account. Although Twitter suggests using your own picture I do not condone that. Use an avatar that is similar to the product you sell.

2. Find people that are interested in what you sell. It's simple. Just go to Twitters search for Find People and add the relevant parties. Once you are following people, they in turn will follow you. Getting it now?

3. Start engaging people in conversation on twitter. Say hi, introduce yourself ... every once in awhile put your website on your "tweet".

4. Leave a window for twitter up on your computer and every once in awhile go back into the site to announce a sale you are having (don't forget to put your web address in) and just to tell people to go and look at your stuff.

5. As your followers go start weeding out the ones that are not going to be applicable to your success, such as ESPN or The NY Times as an example. They have regular computer generated information posted so nobody is going to buy from you (unless you want the updates than leave them in). Twitter only allows you to follow 2,000 folks until you have a 2,000 following so it is real important as you grow to make sure you weed out the ones that won't work.

6. Add us as one of your followers. I always like finding new thing I can buy ... you can find us on twitter at RVT01 - we will follow you if you follow us!

7. That's really it. Very easy and you will see a change in your business within days of tweeting!
