The easiest, cheapest trick to reduce the size of enlarged pores is a warm, moist towel. Run it under water, wring it out and microwave it for 20 to 30 seconds. Place it gently over your face, lay back and relax. The steam will draw out impurities and help sooth the skin.

If the steamy towel did not do the job, you can move on to the drying mud mask. Drying mud masks are excellent for cleaning and shrinking pores. Thoroughly wash your face - with a cleanser that does not contain any anti-acne medication - and apply the mask according to the directions. Lay back and relax until it's dry, then gently wash it away.

For particularly stubborn enlarged pores, the mud mask alone may not be enough. Before using the mask, try pore cleaning strips (usually made for the nose). If your skin feels irritated, follow up with a warm, moist towel. If your skin feels fine, follow up with a soothing mud mask.

After all of the above, apply a pore reducing serum and a light facial moisturizer. These will keep your skin moisturized and healthy, and help to avoid enlarged pores.

5
To maintain your newly tiny pores, use a gently facial scrub each day in the shower to remove dead or dry skin. In the morning and evening, apply a pore cleansing astringent, and follow up with the pore minimizing serum and facial moisturizer. This extra routine should take no longer than 10 minutes - 5 in the morning and 5 at night - and will ensure your pores stay clear and tiny.

Tips & Warnings
You can use the moist towel technique as often as you'd like to cleanse your skin, relax or both.
Always follow up skin cleansing with a facial moisturizer. Water can lead to dry skin, which leads to visible, enlarged pores.
Do not use the pore cleansing strips more than twice per week.
If any product causes any degree of skin discomfort, discontinue use immediately.
If you are under the care of a dermatologist for a skin condition, do not follow any advice listed without receiving medical guidance first.
