Permanent Hair Removal

Unwanted hair can become a permanent chore for those who need to remove hair on a regular basis. There are many methods to remove unwanted body hair; some temporary and others more permanent. 1. Step 1

Do as much research as you possibly can. There are many methods of permanent and semi permanent hair removal that you need to consider the pros and cons about and weigh these issues into your decision. It is imperative that you gain as much information as possible prior to making a big decision that will impact your body and your wallet.

  2. Step 2

Consider the area on your body that requires permanent hair removal. Some parts of the body are more sensitive than others and require a less aggressive technique, while other parts of the body are able to withstand more aggressive methods of permanent hair removal. Establishing where you need your hair removal is the first step towards choosing your method.

  3. Step 3

Choose electrolysis if you are looking for a permanent hair removal solution that entails a thin metal probe delivering an electric shock to the hair follicle, damaging the area so that it can no longer produce hair. This is not a painless method, but it is permanent and effective.

  4. Step 4

You may want to consider using laser hair removal for larger areas of the body, such as your back or arms. Laser hair removal is similar to electrolysis, except instead of using electricity to damage the hair growth area, it uses a laser that causes thermal damage to the area while ensuring that the surrounding tissue remains unaffected. This method is not completely permanent; as hair may grow back; if and when it does, the re-growth is usually lighter and thinner than the original hair.

  5. Step 5

If you're not ready to make the leap to permanent hair removal, consider using a topical application, such as Nair, or something similar to remove the hair and the best part is, it's not permanent.

on 3/24/2009 I've used laser hair remval and loved the results, I also use an epilator by Emjoi (it's a device that pulls the hair out by the roots) and I love my Emjoi too, my boyfriend even uses it. You can buy an epilator at qvc.com last time I checked.
