How to Clear Acne With Baking Soda

Acne can be difficult to manage, and if your acne is caused by candida bacteria it can be resistant to traditional treatments. Luckily, there are ways to combat acne that can actually clear the skin and keep it that way, naturally.

Things You'll Need

• Baking soda Natural soap Towel Calamine lotion

Instructions

1. Wash your face gently with a natural soap. Try to find a good quality natural soap from a health food store that is free of preservatives or perfumes. Wash gently, never scrubbing, and rinse.

2. Make a paste with baking soda and water, about the consistency of watery toothpaste, and very gently massage the baking soda mixture on your face. After around 10 seconds stop massaging and let the baking soda rest on your face for another 10 seconds. Rinse thoroughly with water.

3. Pat your face dry with a towel, remembering not to scrub the towel on the face. Gently pat your face dry. Then, dab a little bit of calamine lotion on each acne blemish with a cotton swab. Let dry.

4. Leave the calamine lotion on overnight. In the morning wash your face, massage with the baking soda paste, and pat dry. You should start to see real, lasting results in one to two weeks.
