Save

There are times when we are far away and the need arises to call a loved one, friend, or companion long distance. For some this may be an easy task. However, for others it may seem daunting and a bit confusing. Knowing the correct numbers to dial along with the correct city codes can become a bit of a hassle. Here you will find out how to dial Mexico from your Sprint cell phone. The process is simple and varies depending on if you are calling a land line or a cell phone.

Find out the city code. In order to fully complete your call to Mexico you will need to know the code for the city you are calling. You can find the codes for each city in Mexico on the International Calling Guide website. For instance, if you wanted to call Tijuana you will see on the calling guide that the city code is 664 and if you wanted to call Mexicali you would input 686 as the city code.

Use this formula. Now that you have all of the information you need you can use it to place your call. Input the information in this order: For calls to a land line dial 011 then 52 followed by the city code and phone number. For calls to a cell phone in Mexico, dial 011 then 52 followed by 1 then the city code and phone number.

Place the call. Let's say you wanted to call someone with a land line in Guadalajara from your Sprint cell phone. You would dial 0115233 and then their phone number including area code. If you wanted to call someone with a cell phone number in Cancun you would dial 011521998 and then their phone number including area code.
