Draw a nurse's cap on white card stock. Cut it out and trace it again several times for each invitation you will need. Using markers, draw an outline of the cap, as well as the red cross insignia at the top of the cap. Write the party's information (e.g. time, date, location) on the back. Mail out these invitations.

Purchase red and white decor, such as streamers, balloons and more. Decorate for the party. Set up a sign in book or a sign in poster. Purchase syringe pens and tie a ribbon around them with a message attached. These are perfect party favors to give guests as they leave.

Set up some silly games, such as pin the syringe on the patient's butt. Have prizes like health care or first aid kits to give the winners of the games. It will continue the theme, but be sure that it's something everyone can use.

Tips & Warnings
Start planning early so you can find good deals on things and have time to make items. Try not to let the decor or games become too corny; allow for some reverence of the accomplishment.
