Here you see all the necessary items

Lay out all of the necessary items, so you don't have to rummage through drawers to find them during each step.

A little tea in the bag

Take your tea, and put however much you want---it depends on how much tea you're making---into the filter.

You have to keep a good grip on it so it doesn't just fall open again.

Grab the top part of the filter, and push it together, so your filter now looks like a bag with tea in it.

      All ready to go

While holding the filter closed, take a rubber band or twist tie---anything, actually, as long as whatever you use can hold the filter shut---and tie it around the top of the filter tightly.
