here's an easy way to learn to drop in. put your back wheels on the copeing and your tail on the platform on top. put your back foot square on the tail and your front one on the hardware closer to the nose. your toes and heels should be slightly off of the edge. now, the fun part. stretch your front arm down and bend down just enough to touch your toes. hold that pose and bring your arm back in a comfortable spot. it shouldn't be as scary now. now lean foward very hard. when you start to roll on the bottom of the ramp, stand up straight. i only slid my tail down a mini ramp once. even then, i still kept going. hope it works the same for you. later -

The longer you wait, the more scared you'll be. Just remember, lean forward with your front foot on the bolts. If you have pads, you won't get hurt at all. -

If you're going to fall, fall forward not back. I personally fell back on the board and my right food stuck to the ramp and I broke my leg. It is very painful for someone just learning to skateboard. I suggest you ride and get used to the ramp before dropping in.
