Instructions

    • 1

Lay the fabric or paper (8 1/2 x 11) horizontally. Fold down top right and left corners about 2 inches. The two edges of the folds will meet each other in the middle of the paper or fabric.

    • 2

Fold the bottom of the paper or fabric up toward the center. Fold up about 2 inches. You will have what looks like a triangle.

    • 3

Take the two bottom edges that sit out from the triangle and pull them back to meet each other. If you are using fabric then pin the two ends together. If you are using paper then glue or tape the ends together.

    • 4

Fold down the point of the nurse's hat. Fold it toward the back of the hat and pin it if you are using material or glue it if using paper.

    • 5

Add extra effects. You can add on a red cross with a red stripe across the bottom of the hat if you choose to. Use red material or paper and cut out a strip as wide as the bottom of the hat, then glue it on. Cut out a cross and glue it onto the front of the nurse's hat.

Tips & Warnings

  • If using fabric, iron it before making the nurse hat for the most crisp appearance.
