How to Design an Awesome Logo

Some of the most famous logos in the world are instantly recognizable and infinitely memorable. The key to a truly awesome logo is to make it unforgettable. Think of the Walt Disney or the Starbucks logo; they're both highly recognizable thanks to their simple yet unique designs.

1. Keep it simple. Think of the Coca Cola logo, which is just the brand name written in a cursive font and colored red. It's simple, to the point, and instantly recognizable all over the world. A simple logo is easy on the eyes, but memorable.

2. Use a unique font. An original or eye-catching font will make your logo stand out from the rest. In fact, the font is quite possibly the most important detail in logo design especially if your logo consists of letters. The Walt Disney logo, for example, has a unique font.

3. Make it colorful. A brightly colored logo will be more noticeable than a plain black and white one. For a truly great-looking logo, choose complimentary or contrasting colors such as blue and orange or red and green.

4. 

   Add a symbol or image that is relevant to the text of the logo. For example, for a coffee shop logo you can add a small coffee mug next to the text.

5. Convey a distinct mood and tone for your logo with details such as flowers, hearts, devil horns, numbers and/or animals.
