Use Dr. Scholl's Freeze Away Wart Remover

Dr. Scholl's Freeze Away Wart Remover is an at-home method for removing painful and embarrassing warts. It's a great alternative for people who can't afford to have their warts removed at a doctor's office due to the high cost of medical bills. Dr. Scholl's Freeze Away contains enough wart remover to last for 12 individual treatments. With Dr. Scholl's Freeze Away, most warts are removed in about 10 days.

Instructions

    • 1

Make sure the area with the wart(s) is clean and dry. You may want to cleanse it gently with a mild soap.

    • 2

Take the white applicator tip and screw it onto the pressurized can, twisting it clockwise to lock it in securely.

    • 3

Place the can upside down on a sturdy surface and push down the applicator tip for about 3 seconds. You may notice a hissing sound and condensation on the tip as it freezes due to the liquid nitrogen.

    • 4

Push the applicator tip onto the wart, making sure to cover the entire wart--not just the center. Note that the applicator must still be attached to the can. Do not remove the applicator until after use.

    • 5

Twist the applicator counterclockwise and discard it. Be careful not to touch the tip to prevent the HPV, or wart-causing virus, from spreading. Use a new applicator to treat additional warts.

    • 6

Wait about 24 hours after treatment and gently cleanse the treated wart with soap and water.

Tips & Warnings

  • Do not use more than four times per wart. Do not use on mucous membranes like the genital and anal areas, or on the lips. Do not use on genital warts, warts with hair growing from them or warts on the face.
