Homemade Basil Parmesan Baked Rolls

Add a surprise twist to dinner with these fast delicious rolls. You can make them from start to finish in just 15-20 minutes. Your family and guests will be amazed. Be sure to hide the Pillsbury dough package and you can claim you did it from scratch.

    Instructions

    Things You'll Need

    • 1 loaf of refrigerated Pillsbury French Bread Dough
    • 1/4 cup of Parmesan Cheese
    • 1 tablespoon dried basil
    • 1/4 cup chopped garlic
    • 1 teaspoon of olive oil
      • 1
        Garlic & Olive Oil in Left bowl, Parmesan & Basil in right bowl, sliced dough

        Preheat over to 350 degrees
        Spray baking sheet with non-stick spray
        Slice bread dough into 8 equal portions (The easy way to get 8 equal portions, is to slice down the middle, then slice each middle of the two halves, next slice each quarter in half and you will have 8 equal portions.)

        Rolls will look like this before baking

        Place Olive oil and garlic in small bowl
        Place Parmesan cheese and basil in another bowl, toss with fingers to mix
        Dip the top of each roll into first the garlic mixture,
        then press lightly into the cheese and herb mixture

        Baked Basil Cheese Rolls in a Cloth Napkin lined basket (Click any pic to enlarge)

        Place on baking sheet about 1/2 inch apart.
        Bake for about 10 minutes until golden colored.
        Serve in a napkin lined basket or bowl.

    • Ovens vary, check after 10 minutes, then every 1-2 minutes until golden brown.
