First, figure out what it is you want to accomplish. As a teen or a kid, obviously you want to make money, but what else? How much do you want to make, how much time do you have and what are your resources? If you want to learn how to make money for kids, first you need to establish some goals.

If you're interest is just to make some easy, fast money, then there are several tried and true methods that seem to always work. Set up a car wash, sell cookies as school, walk dogs for your neighbors or house sit while they are out of town. Then there's always yard work, shoveling snow and cleaning garages. There are plenty of odd jobs that will allow teenagers and kids to make money.

Consider posting your "work for hire" on Craigslist or other websites, but be careful who you respond to and make sure your parents are invloved in the process.

If you don't want to do manual labor, start blogging or fill out online surveys that will pay you for your comments. There's always the paid to surf programs that can provide you with a little spending money as well. Some of these programs require you to be at least 18 years old, so be sure to read the terms carefully.

As you learn how to make money for kids and teens, remember to save your money. This will allow you to spend it on things that will make you more money later.
